The name luciboo.com is based on the name of some of the ingredients in the chemical reaction that causes a firefly to emit light. Two of them are called luciferin and luciferase. Additionally, lucibufagin is yet another chemical that helps firefly's build their defensive system, so all these helped us come up with the name luci boo. Besides, pretty much every word in the dictionary is already taken as a domain name, so we had to get creative! |
